Ice Box Cookies

2 cups dark brown sugar

1 cup butter

2 eggs

3 ¾ cup flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 cup pecans

Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Mix baking soda into flour. Add flour and pecan. Work into a stiff dough. Roll in log shape, wrap in wax paper and put in icebox. When cookies are desired cut into thin slices , place rather far a part on a baking sheet and cook rather quick oven.*

Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes
