The Origins of Thousand Island Dressing

Ingredients
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tablespoons ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon white vinegar
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 Tablespoon chopped pickle
- ½ shallot chopped or 1 teaspoon white onion chopped
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 dash black pepper
