The Origins of Thousand Island Dressing

The exact origins of Thousand Island dressing are somewhat disputed, with several stories claiming to be the “real” one. The most popular version ties the dressing to the Thousand Islands region in the Saint Lawrence River, a beautiful area straddling the U.S.-Canada border.
