Planters Plantation Cookies
Cream together well
½ cup butter or margarine
¾ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
Stir in
¾ cup sifted flour
1 cup (4 five-cent bags) Planters Peanuts
½ cup chopped raisins (if desired)
Drop by half – teaspoonfuls on well – greased cookie sheet. Place high in moderately hot over (400 degrees), bake 8 minutes. Remove at once from cookie sheet, using cake turner. Makes about 50 delicious cookies.
