Maureen O'Hara's Star-Kist Tuna Crunch Salad 1952

Ingredients
  

  • Dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 12 ounces tuna in oil 1 can
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickles minced
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickles minced
  • 1 ½ tablespoons red onion minced
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • Salad
  • 1 1/2 cups cabbage finely shredded
  • 2 cups lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup tomatoes wedged
  • 1 cup potato chips plain / Small bag

Method
 

  1. How to Make
  2. Make dressing 2 hours ahead of time.
  3. Season to taste.
  4. Toss dressing with cabbage and lettuce.
  5. Sprinkle on potato chips and tomatoes.
