This recipe is from the Great Depression and is sure to become a family favorite. This low sugar quick bread is great with a cup of coffee or tea. It is great for breakfast or as a mid day pick me up snack.
Peanut butter bread
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- 4 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ⅓ cup milk
- ½ cup peanut butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients together. Add in milk and peanut butter. Mix everything until well combined/
- Pour mixture into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 1 hour.
