With a fudgy chocolate brownie base, a soft marshmallow layer, and a crunchy peanut butter–chocolate topping, they’re packed with texture and flavor in every bite. Finished with Watkins Baking Vanilla, this is the kind of recipe that gets passed down, requested often, and never lasts long once it’s cut.

Chocolate Crunch Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons baking cocoa
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons Watkins Baking Vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 7 oz marshmallow fluff 1 jar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups 12 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 cups rice krispie cereal

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar and eggs. Stir in cocoa, flour, vanilla & salt. Spread on to a greased 9” x 13” baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool spread marshmallow fluff over cooled brownies. In a small saucepan, melt peanut butter & chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly, remove from heat, stir in rice krispie cereal. Spread over the marshmallow layer. Chill before cutting. Store in the fridge. Makes 3 dozen.
